2009 -

1) -Force Motors has always been ahead of the pack. This year Force Motors was in the news for ? a completely New Cathodic Electro- deposition Paint Shop, which was inaugurated in the month of August, at Pithampur, Indore, by Mr. Hakan Samuellson, Chairman of the Board, Man Group.

Our new cathodic electro -disposition paint shop at Pithampur uses the New Skid based J-Jump technology or handling system. J-Jump is a modular and conveyor system for Pre-treatment and E-coat process. It is particularly suitable for medium or large bodies, both for commercial vehicles like vans, truck cabs, etc. and of course car bodies with a production capacity upto 28 jobs per hour; according to the body type and cycle required. The J-Jump is a flexible system both in terms of production capacity and treatment process sequence. The innovative handling in this system is based on the separation of the horizontal translation of the body from dipping/emerging phase for every single tank stage. Hence this system increases the production simply by duplicating those stages requiring a longer treatment time by performing different cycles and ?jumping? or skipping the stages not required. One also has the facility to modify the treatment type from dipping to spraying and vice-versa.

The latest process chemicals used are from M/s Henkel and M/s PPG, Germany for pre-treatment and electro-coating. This gives excellent corrosion resistance upto 1200 hrs salt spray and very good stone resistance to protect paint film in extreme environmental condition.

2) -The Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalay (State Technological University of Madhya Pradesh) conferred upon Mr. Abhay Firodia, the Honorary Degree of Science (D.Sc), in appreciation of the illustrious services to the state of Madhya Pradesh, in the field of Automobile and Industrial Technology.
