Job Description
- Experience on Internal combustion Engine functioning and design for Automotive and Off highway applications.
- Expert level Experience modelling using Catia V5 Software, Drawing preparation, dimensioning GD&T , Tolerance Stacking , Mechanism Analysis.
- Knowledge of Manufacturing processes, Component/System Validation processes
- Hands on experience in Catia for 3D models & 2D generation of Parts from Engineering.
- Experience in Casting, Forging Part development (Design, Casting tool design , Process)
- Experience in DFMEA , GD&T, Tolerance Stacking , FEA , Engineering material selection
Technical Requirements
- Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in Engine Design with CAD skill of Catia V5, Auto CAD, Part/ system technical Specification generation, GD&T, Casting Part/ sheet metal part modelling, Drawing generation, Bill of materials preparation and PLM.
- Knowledge /experience various materials, Heat treatments, Surface treatments is must.
- Knowledge of various Engine parts manufacturing processes & accepetance norms/ Quality standards for these parts.
- Knowledge/ experience of DFMEA, APQP, EOHS ,TQM CAE analysis for engine parts will be added advantage
